Digital Inclusion - FREE drop-in sessions
You are never too old to learn - nor too young!
Once the Covid-19 pandemic is resolved and life returns to more normality, it is planned to hold FREE sessions on Sundays at the Greenwood Centre - SO WATCH THIS SPACE!
If you or someone you know would like a friendly helper to show you how to use your device (mobile, tablet, laptop), you will be able to bring it along and we will teach you what you need to know.
One of the Trustees, Margot Rohan, will be available to answer all your questions (to the best of her ability). Margot trained as a digital tutor and provided help to local residents at free drop-in sessions at Croydon Council. She has also given one-to-one classes for local Orpington residents of ages ranging from 20 to 80, in their own homes. Having used computers on a daily basis since the 1980s, she has a wealth of experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
Currently we only have a couple of laptops available for those without any experience of using computers.
IF ANYONE HAS A WORKING LAPTOP THEY DO NOT NEED AND WOULD LIKE TO DONATE TO THIS PROJECT, PLEASE CONTACT GSGAssn@gmail.com.
